Studio Policies

BY COMING TO NORTH POLE DANCE STUDIO, YOU ARE EXPECTED TO ABIDE BY THE STUDIO POLICIES AND CODE OF CONDUCT. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY. VIOLATION MAY RESULT IN YOUR DISMISSAL FROM THE STUDIO.

HEALTH DISCLAIMER: You should consult your physician or other health care professional before starting this or any other fitness program to determine if it is right for your needs. Do not start this fitness program if your physician or health care provider advises against it. If you experience faintness, dizziness, pain or shortness of breath at any time while exercising, you should stop immediately.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

  • By purchasing  a pass  or coming to North Pole Dance Studio, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present.  You  voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, and agree not to hold North Pole Dance Studio LLC, its owners, and team members liable for any illness or injury in connection with your attendance at North Pole Dance Studio.

CODE OF CONDUCT & STUDIO POLICIES

  • Liability waiver is required for all participants at the studio.
  • Only enrolled students are allowed inside the studio.
  • Early cancel and reschedule your class reservation if you're not feeling well. 
  • You are expected to show up to class on time. If you are running late, quietly enter your class and check-in with your instructor when warm-up is over. If you are 10 minutes late to class and missed the warm-up, the instructor may offer your spot to a walk-in student who completed the warm-up.  
  • Respect your fellow classmates and instructors. Be polite and display good manners at all times.
  • You must not interfere with class instruction and authority. Disruptive students will be asked to leave and no refunds/studio credit will be issued.
  • For your safety, USE A CRASH MAT.
  • Leave your phone conversations outside the studio. If you need to answer a call, take it outside the studio.
  • Proper attire is required at the studio.
    • Proper attire for non-pole class is comfortable athletic wear such as leggings/shorts, sports bra, tank top/t-shirt.
    • Proper attire for pole class and open pole is fitted shorts/pole shorts, sports bra, tank top/t-shirt.
    • No see-through material exposing undergarments is allowed.
    •  Underwear is NOT to be used as workout attire.
    • Undergarments must be worn underneath your shorts.
    • No pasties and thongs/G-strings as pole wear. Absolutely no nudity!
    • When selecting your pole shorts, do the check! Attire that exposes your private areas are not allowed.
  • Food & beverages aside from water is not permitted inside the studio. Should you need to eat your snack, consume it outside the studio. Water containers must be shatter-proof.
  • Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the studio.
  • Keep the studio clean. Wipe down your poles after you use them and make sure you remove any residue from your grip aids. Dispose of your trash in the trash bins. Return studio equipment in their designated location.
  • Keep your hands to yourselves. Do not touch anyone without permission.
  • Filming is only allowed at designated times stated by your instructor. Please do not film anyone without their permission.
  • You must not distract, bully, or harass other students. If you are being harassed at the studio by another student, report it IMMEDIATELY to your instructor. Submit an Incident Form: Code of Conduct/Studio Policies. (Go to main menu tab, then click "Forms")
  • You must refrain from cyber bullying/harassing other students or team members. If you are being harassed online by a fellow student at the studio, we recommend that you tell the offender to STOP and block their account IMMEDIATELY. You may submit an Incident Form: Code of Conduct/Studio Policies to the studio. Please attach any supporting documents/screenshots of the online harassment. (Go to main menu tab, then click "Forms")
  • When representing North Pole Dance Studio, students are expected to act in a manner that reflects positively on the studio.
  • These behaviors are frowned upon at the studio:
    • Soliciting of personal and business services without written approval from the owners
    • Encouraging sabotage of instructor(s) and/or business operations
    • Defamation of character of our instructors and/or our studio
    • Unauthorized filming/photography

WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO TAKE DISCIPLINARY ACTION OR DISMISS PERSON(S) WHO ARE IN BREACH OF NORTH POLE DANCE STUDIO'S CODE OF CONDUCT AND STUDIO POLICIES. IN ADDITION, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR YOUR PASS/PACKAGE/MEMBERSHIP.

CLASS RESTRICTIONS

  • Some classes have pre-requisites. All pre-requisites must be met for classes requiring instructor evaluation. No exceptions. 

OPEN POLE POLICIES

  • Bring headphones/earphones/air pods if you prefer to listen to your own music. You are not allowed to play through your own device speaker.
  • 1 (ONE) person per pole. Open pole is for pole use only. Use of other apparatus(es) is not allowed for students.
  • USE A CRASH MAT.
  • Do not disturb instructors who are practicing. They use this time to train themselves too.
  • Clean your pole and other studio equipment you used and return them to their designated areas.
  • Dress appropriately when at the studio. Please refer to the "Dress Code" if you are unsure of what is appropriate at the studio.

GROUP CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY 

    • You must cancel/remove your reservation for a group class no later than five (5) hours BEFORE the class begins in order to avoid penalty fees. If a class reservation is canceled within the five (5) hours prior to the class, your account will be subject to penalty fees:
      • Clients with unlimited trial pass/unlimited memberships will be charged a $15 fee for each penalty (late cancellation, no show) incurred. No exceptions.
      • Class packs and single sessions are not subject to a $15 penalty fee. However, the pass used for your reserved class will be surrendered at the time of reservation, regardless of if you attend the class or not.
    • How to avoid fees? Do not sign up for classes you aren’t sure you can make. We’ve made this change to discourage cancelations/no shows caused by advanced reservations. To avoid interruption to your membership, please make sure your billing info on file is current. If you incur a negative balance to your studio account, you will not be able to book classes and your membership will be marked as inactive until balance is fully paid.
    • Class packages and single session pass holders: Your pass will be marked as used if you cancel/no show to your reserved class.
    • Group classes with 5 or less students enrolled may be subject to cancellation 3 hours before the class begins.  

PRIVATE/ SEMI-PRIVATE SESSION CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All private sessions should be coordinated with your private instructor. Your studio room rental is non-refundable.

PRIVATE PARTY CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We will issue a full refund for cancellations made more than 2 weeks (14 days) from your reservation date. 
  • If you cancel less than 5 days from your reservation date, no refunds will be issued.

MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION POLICY

  • You must request a membership cancellation through email at info@northpoleds.com.
  • We do not prorate. Please EMAIL your cancellation request 7 business days BEFORE your billing date so we can expire your membership. If you cancel after your auto payment has processed, your membership will expire at the end of that paid month. No refunds will be issued.

SALES TAX

  • The goods and services provided at North Pole Dance Studio are subject to sales and use tax of 8.25%.

SALES POLICY

  • ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refund/studio credit. Non-transferable.

**We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.**
